Dr. Andrew Wolf is a board-certified specialist in Pediatric Ophthalmology. He specializes in all aspects of pediatric eye care – from prescribing glasses to the management of complex surgical problems. In addition, he specializes in the management of adults with double vision or misaligned eyes (adult strabismus).

Dr. Wolf received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, where he majored in Biology and Anthropology. He then received his medical degree (M.D.) from the University of Vermont.

While in medical school, Dr. Wolf developed a passion for ophthalmology during an internship at the Tilganga Eye Centre in Kathmandu, Nepal.

After graduating from medical school, Dr. Wolf completed his ophthalmology residency at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY, where he was elected by his peers to serve as Chief Resident.

He was then awarded a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at the University of Michigan, which he completed in 2006. Dr. Wolf joined Stamford Ophthalmology in 2006.

Dr. Wolf is board-certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is an active member of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus and the Connecticut Society of Eye Physicians. He has authored several scientific articles and has presented at national pediatric ophthalmology meetings. He also serves as the Medical Director for Ava’s Voice, a non-profit organization supporting children with Usher Syndrome. In 2017 and 2018, Dr. Wolf was named as one of Fairfield County’s “Top Doctors” by Castle Connolly. In his personal time, Dr. Wolf enjoys golf, running and basketball. He resides in nearby Westchester with his wife and two children.
