
Dr. Elizabeth Hofmann received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Pre-Medicine from the College of the Holy Cross, and her Doctor of Optometry degree from MCPHS University. She completed clinical rotations with emphasis on ocular disease and pediatric eye care at multiple locations throughout New England, including time at the Veterans Affairs.
Dr. Hofmann enjoys helping patients of all ages and has a passion for pediatrics. Prior to coming to Stamford Ophthalmology, she spent five years at a private practice in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, helping patients with contact lens fittings, care after cataract surgery, and eye emergencies. Most recently, she was at a private practice in Ridgefield, Connecticut, where she continued to provide comprehensive eye exams while specializing in myopia control.
Dr. Hofmann is an active member of the American Optometric Association. As a prior member of the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists, she received the Mass Vision Foundation Award, recognizing optometric leadership in the Commonwealth. She is also a member of the Connecticut Association of Optometrists and the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society. 
Dr. Hofmann enjoys running, spending time with family, and traveling with her husband.
