I came there after hearing good things about the practice. I had cataract surgery 2 years ago from a doctor in Queens NY and just wasn’t fully happy with the results. Dr Pribis examined me and it was very thorough. She explained to me that the surgery that was performed was done properly and said the doctor did a great job and there is really nothing that can be done to correct the things I’m not happy with because of other factors with my eyes. The reason for the 5 stars is Dr. Pribis explained everything to me. She answered every question for me and listened to all my concerns which I never received from my original doctor. She is very knowledgeable and understanding which gave me a sense of comfort. Highly recommend Dr Pribis and the facility to anyone who has any eye concerns.

Forever grateful! My family and I have been coming to this practice for over 20 years. We unfortunately are all myopic. When my kids were young, they saw Dr. Wolf who was kind and supportive. As they became teenagers, they saw Dr. Pribis for contacts, as I did. She is a joy to visit! Her professional demeanor wrapped in warmth and care is a constant. She advised us on getting the perfect fit and introduced us to contacts that may have helped curbed the progression of my daughter’s myopia. When she gave me my diagnosis of cataracts, she referred me to Dr. Siderides. It is now over a month since my cataract surgery and I can report perfect vision. For someone who has been severely nearsighted since third grade, I cannot express the joy I feel every morning when I wake up and can see! Her surgical expertise and fine care has made my dream come true.

I love this practice. I’ve treated with Dr. Pribis and Dr. Schneider, but my family and friends have treated with most of the other doctors there as well. In short, they make you feel like you have a really caring, very competent, expert specialist family member who is taking care of you. Everything is very clean and very professional, but it isn’t a cold practice where you feel like the doctors are just doing their jobs. Here, you feel like you are special, regardless of which doctor you are seeing. Finally, since a lot of a patient’s time is spent with the non-doctors, I have to compliment them on their hiring. Their staff and assistants, whether the billing people or the people who do the tests before you see the doctor, are great – friendly and very helpful with everything. I wish all of my doctors’ offices were like this!

Dr. Schneider is a compassionate physician, and, she is quite skilled in her area of practice. These traits, combined with her confidence in her abilities, in my opinion, makes for the ideal choice of a clinician.

I have been a patient at Stamford Ophthalmology for over 15 years under the exceptional care of Dr. Maria Pribis. When it became time to address my cataracts surgery, Dr. Pribis referred me to Dr. Lauren Schneider. Dr. Schneider was extremely caring and professional. She took the time to explain my cataract surgery step by step. From my pre-op appointment to my post-op appointment all my questions and concerns were answered. My surgery was a great success and I can’t believe that after wearing glasses since the age of 4 and a contact lens wearer for over 35 years my eyesight is superb. Thank you all at Stamford Ophthalmology for being such a great team!!

Dr. Pribis is the absolute best if you’re nervous to try contacts/if you think you can’t do it. She is so so nice, supportive, and encouraging. When I had a follow up appt after my first week of wearing them, I mentioned a concern I had and she actually listened to me and gave me a new brand of contacts and they ended up being perfect. Thank you so much, I would have never been able to put contacts in without you!

I couldn’t be more pleased with this practice! Dr Prius was my go to for exams and contacts. Great patient care and very competent. When it was time for cataract surgery she referred me to Dr Schneider who was equally top notch. She is super competent and provides personalized care that is top shelf. I have perfect 20/20 vision with zero complications. Surgical center also extremely well run and professional. I’d still be a patient there except I relocated to NC. Seriously considering going back each year for follow ups.
